Nina Koželj is an artis from Slovenia born in 1985. She works in the field of graphic, sculptur and painting. After completing her studies at the Secondary School for Design and Photography in Ljubljana, she enrolled on the Art Pedagogy degree at the Faculty of Education of the University of Ljubljana in 2005. Between 2007 and 2010 she assisted Prof. Mirko Bratuša as a Demonstrator for Ceramics, and between 2009 and 2011 she was also a Demonstrator Assistant for Printmaking to Prof. Črtomir Frelih. Since 2010 she has been teaching and leading workshops in Sculpture and Printmaking for adults at the ArtCenter Ljubljana.

In recent years she has had several solo and group exhibitions, most of which were selected by jury. In 2010 she was the recipient of the Vordemberge-Gildewart Foundation Award for her print/ceramic installation “The Game“. In 2011 she  represented Slovenia in XVI. Deutsche internationale grafik Triennale Frechen, in Germany. And in 2014 she recive the honorabule mention for painting in Extempore Kamnik and the prize for the best young author in Extempore Piran. She lives and works in Stahovica near Kamnik.

Nina Koželj je umetnica, rojena 1985, v Ljubljani. Po končani Srednji šoli za Oblikovanje in fotografijo v Ljubljani, se je vpisala na Pedagoško fakulteto (Likovna pedagogika) v Ljubljani, kjer je v letih 2007 – 2010 asistirala kot demonstrator pri predmetu keramika, pri prof. Mirku Bratuši, ter v obdobju 2009 – 2011 kot demonstrator pri predmetu grafika, pri prof. Črtomirju Frelihu. Od leta 2010 vodi tečaje kiparstva in grafike (v tandemu z Zoro Stančič) za odrasle v Art Centru Pionirskega doma v Ljubljani, od leta 2013 pa tudi likovne delavnice za najmlajše v Družinskem centru Mala ulica.

V preteklih letih se je s samostojnimi razstavami predstavila med drugim tudi v galeriji Vrt ZDSLU v Ljubljani, Galeriji Gorenje, Galeriji Ivana Groharja, Zavodu za Kiparstvo, ter številnimi skupinskimi razstavami doma ter v tujini . V letu 2008 je prejela priznanje fotografske zveze Slovenije, v letu 2010 štipendijo švicarske fundacije Vordemberge-Gildewart, 2014 priznanje za kakovostno likovno delo na kamniškem ex-temporu ter nagrado za najboljše delo avtorja, starega do 35 let, na 49. mednarodnem ex-temporu Piran 2014. Živi in dela v Stahovici nad Kamnikom.
